The NEW Grays - Devin A Bunny Gentleman

"Laura, The Quintessential Lady Bunny!" was pacing around the house and couldn't wait for her husband, "Devin, A Bunny Gentleman", to get home. He was working late tonight and wouldn't be home for a few hours. Laura wasn't sure she could wait that long.

You see, she was quite beside herself. She just couldn't understand what they hadn't received their invitation to join the "Victorian Animals Tea Society" that was started by "Bearly Victorian, Ryan" and his wife, "Bearly Victorian, Deb!" for all their wonderful Victorian animal friends.

After getting rejected for the umpteenth time from the latest Victorian tea society that he had applied to "Barely Victorian, Ryan!" decided that he and his wife should start their own club.

Their club would truly have an open membership and be accepting of all individuals and creatures. None of this "open to all", but really closed to animals rules. So what if Ryan and Deb were bears. They were still Victorian to the core. In fact, their lineage was probably older than some of the snooty Victorians who turned down their membership application.

Laura and Devin were not only "animals, but "old money" animals which meant they were the creme de la creme of the Victorian animal establishment. They were definitely eligible to join the "Victorian Animals Tea Society." So, why hadn't they received an invitation yet?

"Devin, A Bunny Gentleman!" is an 18" Victorian bunny gentleman. He is a self standing bunny doll with a square bottom and warm & natural body. His face is embroidered and his cheeks are blushed. The outline of his mouth is embroidered with a back stitch and his nose is satin stitch embroidered with pink floss. The inside of his mouth is colored pink. The outline of his eyes is back stitch embroidered with black floss and satin stitched with black floss while his iris are colored brown. His eyelashes are straight stitch embroidered with black floss. His eyebrows and long mustache are both made of raw mohair. He has whiskers on both sides of his cheeks.

Devin's beautifully tailored outfit is the latest in Victorian gentleman's wear. His shirt is finished and gathered at the neck edge and his lined vest matches his jacket. He has a lace trimmed ascot wrapped around his neck which is overlapped in the front and tied with a DMC bow.

His jacket is lined and has front pockets and a collar with lapels. His sleeves are cuffed and the edges of his lined jacket are top stitched. His jacket is fastened in the front with two large buttons and DMC floss.

He has beautiful straight white mohair hair that is barely controlled underneath his lined, brimmed, and pointed hat. He has wired warm and natural ears with fabric inner ears that are sticking out through the slits in his hat. There is a separate band around the brim of his hat with feather decorations.

"Devin, A Bunny Gentleman!" knows that when he gets home he will have wonderful news for his wife. You see, he has the invitation to the "Victorian Animals Tea Society" in his pocket. It was hand delivered by "Bearly Victorian, Ryan" himself.

Devin wasn't surprised by the invitation. Despite his 70+ years he is still the creme de la creme of society and fully expected to receive a personal invitation. Just wait until Laura hears. She'll be thrilled.

The NEW Grays - Doug The Handy Dandy Gentleman

"Petronella, The Birdhouse Lady!" is very concerned about her bird friends and their survival over the long, cold winter months.

In fact she is so concerned she asked her husband, "Doug, The Handy Dandy Gentleman!" to make her several birdhouses that she could put in the yarn to help her feathered friends.

The problem is that Petronella doesn't want just any birdhouses. She wants fancy Victorian birdhouses, with style and class. Lots of details and intricate molding.

Doug, on the other hand, doesn't want to invest so much time in making birdhouses that are just going to be destroyed by Petronella's fine feathered friends. He doesn't want to make them, but he loves to please Petronella.

"Doug, The Handy Dandy Gentleman!" is a 13" squared bottomed self-standing Victorian snowman warm & natural cloth doll. He has an embroidered face with black bead eyes, resin carrot nose, outline embroidered mouth, and blushed cheeks. He also sports a cute wool fleece mustache.

Doug a full head of straight white mohair hair that is barely controlled under his lined felt top hat.

He is wearing his favorite felt jacket with white piping along all the edges, a left side breast pocket, and two front pockets. His jacket is secured in the front with three buttons and two large fringed scarves are tied around his neck and then in a knot in the front.

He also has two felt earmuffs over his ears to keep him warm and being the gentleman that he is he's carrying a handkerchief in his breast pocket. = He just never knows when his wife, Petronella, will need it.

"Doug, The Handy Dandy Gentleman!" knows how much Petronella's fine feathered friends mean to her and has no problem making them birdhouses. It's just that to have to make finely crafted and delicately featured Victorian birdhouses for "the birds" is really going overboard.

If you want to make your own "Doug, The Handy Dandy Gentleman!" you can do so. His new pattern is available as an instant download e-pattern on my Linda Walsh Originals E-Patterns website. Just CLICK HERE for his new e-pattern. Or, CLICK HERE for his print pattern.

She is also wearing a coordinated two tier lined cape with lined and raised collar.

"Petronella, The Birdhouse Lady!" knows how to take care of her feathered friends. Her problem is that she loves everything and anything Victorian and wants everything Doug makes to be of the finest material and finest workmanship. Even if it's only going to be used for her fine, feathered friends. They deserve quality, too!

The NEW Grays - Sweetheart Faith

"Sweetheart Faith!" is just the sweetest snow-lady you'd ever want to meet. She just loves her life, loves being outside, and especially loves being in the garden.

Even though she's been growing flowers for decades she's still amazed by their beauty. There isn't a flower or plant that she can't identify or any flower or plant that she can't nurse back to health.

She has quite the "green thumb" for a snow-lady and is the envy of all the "ladies" in her Victorian gardening club. If you've got a gardening question - ask "Sweetheart Faith!"

Got a sick plant - give it to "Sweetheart Faith!" Need help designing your Victorian garden - ask "Sweetheart Faith!" Need a floral arrangement for a special occasion - ask "Sweetheart Faith!" to help you. Anything and everything floral - ask "Sweetheart Faith!"

"Sweetheart Faith!" is a 14" squared bottomed self-standing Victorian snow-lady warm & natural cloth doll. She has an embroidered face with black bead eyes, resin carrot nose, outline embroidered mouth, and blushed cheeks.

She has a felt jacket with top stitching along all the edges and lace trimmed front pockets. Her jacket is secured in the front with a button and two large fringed scarves are tied around her neck and then in a knot in the front.

"Sweetheart Faith!" has such a "green thumb" that she's won the award for the best grown orchids five years in a row. Plus, she's won the award for the best variegated violets three years in a row. "Sweetheart Faith!" certainly knows her flowers and plants.

If you want to make your own "Sweetheart Faith!" you can do so. Her new pattern is available as an instant download e-pattern on my Linda Walsh Originals E-Patterns website. Just CLICK HERE for her new e-pattern. Or, CLICK HERE for her print pattern.

The NEW Grays - Rebecca

I love "faceless" dolls as I believe that without their faces the doll's personality can speak for itself. You tend to look at the whole doll for her beauty versus just looking at her face.

There is a quiet beauty to "faceless" dolls and "Rebecca" is one of those quiet beauties. She is new doll from our "faceless" colonial boys & girls series.

She and her two friends, "Ursula At Play" and Ursula's brother, "Zacheus At Play!" are a tight knit group of boys and girls. They are all "faceless" colonial beauties who just love hanging out together. Rebecca is the most dignified of the group and the most studious.

Ursula and Zacheus are much more playful and love to tease each other as only "brothers & sisters" can. They pay attention to their studies, but when their done - well, they just love to play.

Whether it's the gentleness that surrounds her, the colors of her outfit, the way her hair is fashioned, or her intricate beauty Rebeca is a beautiful Colonial doll.

"Rebecca" is a 12" Colonial "faceless" cloth doll with muslin body and blushed cheeks . Her boots are painted black and cross-laced. Rebecca has a mass of curly gray yarn hair all over her head.

She is wearing lace trimmed pinafore bloomers that are gathered at the waist. Her slip is lace trimmed pinafore and gathered at the waist, as well.

Rebecca's blue blouse has 2 layers of lace trim along the sleeve hem and is gathered at the neck which is adorned with lace trim. Her beautiful striped skirt has gathered lace trim and straight lace trim along the bottom hem edge and is gathered at the waist. A lace edged and matching sash is tied around her waist and knotted in the front.

Rebecca's bonnet matches her blue blouse and is lined and ties in a bow just under her neck. She also has a lace crocheted old handkerchief which is delicately wrapped around her shoulders for a shawl and then knotted in the front.

Rebecca's quiet beauty speaks to her quiet nature, gentle disposition, and inner grace. She is a beautiful, graceful, lady like Colonial doll.

If you want to make your own "Rebecca!" you can do so. Her new pattern is available as an instant download e-pattern on my Linda Walsh Originals E-Patterns website. Just CLICK HERE for her new e-pattern. Or, CLICK HERE for her print pattern.

The NEW Grays - Grandma Aurora May On An Expedition and Grandpa Lewis On An Expedition

A little while ago I asked the readers of my Linda's blog and my customers what kind of dolls they would like to see me design. Well, one of the responses was to design a "Grandmother and Grandfather" couple. I liked that idea and decided to make my Grandparents a Victorian couple.

I also decided that my "Grandma and Grandpa" couple should have marvelous gray hair so they could join the "Gray Is Beautiful" series of dolls. Of course, I had to ask all the "Gray Is Beautiful" dolls if this was okay with them. They thought about it for awhile and then told me they would be thrilled to have new members to their exclusive club.

So, "Grandma Aurora May and Grandpa Lewis" were born and became the newest members of the "Gray Is Beautiful" series of dolls.

"Grandma Aura May - On An Expedition!" is ready to go. She's been ready for over a year and is anxious to get started on her expedition with "Grandpa Lewis - On An Expedition!"

"Grandpa Lewis - On An Expedition!" isn't as anxious to go. He loves to please his wife, but is really more of a homebody and would prefer to stay home working on his coin and stamp collections.

Grandma Aurora May loves a good adventure and loves finding new places and new venues to explore. She'd rather spend all day looking for a great site for a picnic and always looks forward to their annual expedition to the beach.

Her main reason is that she loves to spend time with her grandchildren and loves cooking for them.

It's not that Grandpa Lewis doesn't love his grandchildren - he adores them. It's just he doesn't have a lot of patience for his grand children's boundless energy and "ants in their pants" inability to sit still. After one day at the beach with the grandchildren he's ready to go home.

Grandma Aurora May tells him to lighten up a bit. That's the way children are. Full of energy. Exploring everything. What's wrong with that?

Well, Grandpa Lewis doesn't mind enthusiasm and willingness to learn. He just can't stand little idle hands playing with the cherished coins in his coin collection and touching all the stamps in his stamp collection.

And he can't leave his collections at home while he's on a three month expedition to the beach. He'd go stir crazy without something to keep him occupied all that time.

Grandma Aurora May really does understand her husband and knows that she has to keep him happy or their won't be anymore expeditions to the beach. And, that she wouldn't be happy about. So, each and every year she tells the grandchildren that Grandpa Lewis's stamp and coin collections are off limits.

Most of the time the grandchildren listen. Sometimes, however, there are those idle hands.......

"Grandpa Lewis - On An Expedition" is a 15" Victorian Grandfather cloth doll with watercolor penciled face. His boots are cross-tied and painted black.

Grandpa Lewis is wearing his favorite plaid suit with his favorite blue collared shirt. His plaid pantaloons are gathered and his plaid jacket is lined with a gathered bottom section. His lined jacket with lapels has two buttons and is tied with a plaid sash. He has a gray mustache and his gray roving hair is long and thick and tied in a ponytail at the back of his neck.

He fancies himself quite the gentleman and expert on rare coins and stamps. Now if he could just keep his grandchildren away from his coin and stamp collection. He loves his grandchildren but thinks they need to learn the value of a rare coin and stamp collection and how destructive idle hands can be.

"Grandma Aurora May - On An Expedition" is a 16" Victorian Grandmother cloth doll with watercolor penciled face. Her boots are cross-tied and painted black. She is wearing gathered and lace trimmed bloomers and a gathered slip.

Her fancy Victorian expedition outfit has a dress bodice with a lined lace trimmed front band, double rowed lace trimmed over sleeves, and lace trimmed neck edge. The dress skirt portion of her fancy Victorian dress also has a double row of lace trim and is made of a coordinating striped fabric. Satin ribbon is tied around the waistline and a stain ribbon bow adorns the front of her dress.

She has a full head of gray thick roving hair fastened in a puff. Her bonnet matches the bodice of her dress and is lined and lace trimmed. She is carrying a wicker basket with lining and ribbon trims.

The New GRAYS - Blue Bell Sara

"Blue Bell Sara" and her sorority sister "Swing Sweetly Annabelle" are two of the newest dolls from my new "The Long Sleek Sitting Doll Series!"

Both are elegantly attired and ready for their afternoon walk.

"Blue Bell Sara" is wearing the finest in Victorian afternoon attire and is an elegant faceless Victorian doll who went prematurely gray. "Swing Sweetly Sara", on the other hand, is wearing her best Colonial attire for an afternoon stroll and has a beautifully embroidered and water colored face as well as a full head of burgundy colored hair.

Both dolls belong to the "Only Elegance Alpha Phi E" sorority as did both their mothers and several of their grandmothers before them. So, they really had no choice in the matter as it was wholly expected of them that they would join.

So, join they did and both are reporting that they are so happy to be part of such a wonderful and elegant sorority. Neither, in accordance with their sorority rules, will tell you what they've been up to though. It's a secret and only discussed amongst sorority members! The only thing they will say is that they have an upcoming event, which everyone will surely enjoy, but which they can't and won't talk about.

"Blue Bell Sara" is a 28" Victorian "faceless" cloth doll that prefers to hang on a wall in any Victorian decor. She has a long sleek body, long sleek arms, and long sleek legs with black cross tied boots.

Her bloomers are 2-tiered with gathered lace trim and straight lace trim along the bottom hem edge. They are gathered at the waist and ankles. Her slip has gathered eyelet lace trim along the bottom hem edge and is gathered at the waist. She is wearing her best pair of lace gloves.

"Blue Bell Sara's" intricately two-toned dress has multiple panels of coordinating fabric. Her sleeves are two-sectional and consist of faced cuffs and a large puffy sleeve gathered at the shoulder. Her darted in the front dress has multi-colored side panels and underarm gores and 2-tiers of gathered lace trim along the bottom hem edge. The collar is lined and box style.

A long lace trimmed and gathered ruffle surrounds the shoulders and runs down the front sides and meets in a "V" below the waist. Long white pearls are draped around her neck.

"Blue Bell Sara" went prematurely gray at a very early age and wears her long gray hair with bangs tied up in a bun in the back. Her lined and coordinated bonnet with tulle sits lovingly upon her head and bun and is decorated with ribbon and silk floral. Her bonnet ties are wrapped around her neck and decorated with silk floral. They also serve as her wall hanger for the loop in the back of her neck.

An old handkerchief is wrapped around her shoulders and around her arms for a shawl.

"Blue Bell Sara" knows she has some tall shoe's to fill in the "Only Elegance Alpha Phi E" sorority as her mother and some of her grandmother's were past presidents. However, she's not worried. She knows she is up to the task and, if elected president of the sorority, will have no problem fulfilling that role. After all, she is from an elegant line of long, sleek sitting dolls - isn't she?

Tell Everyone You're A FAN of Our Gray Is Beautiful Gallery

Linda Walsh's Facebook profile

You're going to think I'm crazy, but I've been playing again. This time it's on Facebook.com.

I learned of Facebook.com several years ago from my granddaughter when she was in college. It seems it was the website for all the college kids to have to introduce themselves, get to know their roommates and other students at the college, etc. At that time it was really just for college kids.

Well, that was then and now is now. Facebook.com has suddenly grown into a behemoth of a website that everyone and anyone needs to have a page one. It seems like it is THE PLACE NOW to get your name and/or business out there. So, since a few of my Internet friends were all joining and setting up their pages I decided to join in.

Well, I have to tell you that I like certain parts of Facebook and there are parts I don't like. There's a LOT there, but I found that it wasn't that easy initially to maneuver your way around especially from your personal page to your fan pages, which is where you would set-up a page for your business. For some reason they like to keep the two separate.

I did love the fact that they had networked blogs. I could add all my blogs and have all those blogs be followed by all my friends if they wanted to. Plus, I could see all the blogs my friends were following and add them to my list if I wanted to. In addition, if your blog has enough followers then every time you post something to your blog the RSS feed is automatically added to your profile wall.

So, I set-up a Linda Walsh page. If you'd like to visit my public profile page please CLICK HERE. If you want to see my detailed page you'll have to become a member of Facebook.com and then request to become a friend of mine.

If you do decide to become a member of Facebook.com and a friend of mine please visit my profile page, then click on my "INFO" tab, then scroll down to Pages and click view all. Then just click on my Linda Walsh Originals page to become a fan of my Linda Walsh Originals page on Facebook. Just CLICK HERE and then click "Become A Fan" in the top right hand corner box.

I set-up fan pages for my Linda Walsh Originals website, my Linda Walsh Originals E-Patterns website, my Linda Walsh Originals Dolls website, my Gray Is Beautiful Gallery, my Linda's Bookstore on Dolls and Doll Making, my Linda's Bookstore on Crafts and Craft Making, and my Top Blogs By Crafters toplist. Tic-Tac-Toe, Pick-Up Sticks and Noodles

I'm going to go out on a limb and say, "With all the electronic gadgets out their you still can't beat some of the simple old games like "tic-tac-toe" and "pick up sticks."

Now you might say - "What? Are you kidding?"

Well, my answer would be - "No, I'm not kidding. And, here's why!"

During an IM (Instant Messaging) session last week with my grandson, "Noodles", when I asked him what he wanted for his 9th birthday he said "PSP."

When I typed - "what's PSP?" he responded "Look it up!"

So, of course I responded "WHAT! LOOK IT UP! I DON'T THINK SO!!!!!"

Of course he then LOL LOL LOL'd and typed "Play Station Portable."

So, I did a little googling to find out what this electronic device was. Turns out it's another portable game console only for PSP3 by Sony. Well, my grandson doesn't really need yet another game console, but...... you know how it goes as grandparents.

"Noodles" came to visit Nana and Grampy for a sleep over the other day and to do some birthday shopping and he and I spent several delightful hours shopping, eating lunch, shopping some more, etc. And, believe it or not, he actually was tired of shopping before Nana was. I of course, was delighted and had to rib him about that. At my age I don't get to beat him at much so this was a pleasant surprise.

In any event, we bought a PSP and brought it home. I had some work to do on the computer so Noodles sat in my study with me playing the PSP game. After about 1/2 an hour he came over to me and said "Nana, what are you doing?" To which I replied, "Working!" To which he replied, "On what?" To which I replied, "On my websites and blogs!" To which he replied, "Show me!"

Since I was on my "Gray Is Beautiful" blog I scrolled down the sidebar to show him what was there. The "Gray Is Beautiful" dolls didn't want any fancy gadgets on their blog - no, no, no. They wanted some old fashioned tried and true games of "tic-tac-toe" and "solitaire" for their sidebar - so I added them.

Well, when we got to the modules for the two games "Noodles" wanted to play. We lost at solitaire and then he wanted to play "tic-tac-toe" which we did and to my delight we ended up playing for over an hour. He was happy. I was happy as I was beating him, but the point was that an old fashioned game had held his attention for over and hour. Albeit it was an old fashioned game in a modern computerized fashion - but, still it was tic-tac-toe and , still, it had captured his attention. I also like to think it was playing with Nana that also helped capture his attention for so long.

The next morning we had several hours to kill and since he'd already played his new PSP games for about 1/2 and hour that morning he was looking for something to do.

So, I took out another old fashioned game of "pick up sticks" and we set about playing. Well, an hour and a half later we were still playing, and , yes Nana was winning at first. He quickly caught on to the tricks to getting your stick out without moving any of the other sticks and was soon beating Nana. But, the point was that we had captured his attention again with another old fashioned game. This time, it was the plain old fashioned wooden sticks version.

The point is it just goes to show you the newest and latest electronic gadget isn't always the best and a game might be "old fashioned" but that doesn't mean it still can't be #1.

I guess you don't get to be "tried and true" for hundreds of years without being pretty good. And, "tic-tac-toe" and "pick up sticks" are definitely "tried and true."

Do you think the PSP will be able to claim that in several hundred years? I don't think so.

Have You Seen Her? Have You Seen Them?

    Psst! Psst!

    Have you seen her?

    Have you seen them?

"For heavens sake, Sweet Julianna! What are you talking about," Helena asked?

"The NEW GRAYS. I'm talking about the NEW GRAYS," Sweet Julianna replied.

Helena was in no mood to be disturbed today. She was reading her favorite magazine and just hated to be interrupted by anyone.

But, Sweet Julianna was just so - well, sweet, how could she get mad at her. So she replied, "I haven't seen them yet. Linda promised she'd introduce all the NEW GRAYS to us soon."

"Okay, Helena. I was just checking. The buzz is that the NEW GRAYS are stunning," Sweet Julianna replied.

Helene was just as curious as all the other GRAYS as to who the NEW GRAYS were. But, she couldn't let Linda know that. She had to play it cool and let Linda think that she wasn't interested and wasn't curious.

Truth be told curiosity was going to get the better of her. She'd tried and tried to find out what she could, but Linda has been pretty mum on the subject and Linda's hubby wasn't telling either.

"Men, what good are they," Helena muttered to herself?

"Now, now, Helena don't get your feminist panties all in a snit. You'll know soon enough," Susan Renee - My Beautiful Gray whispered.

Helene didn't realize that anyone was still here and was a little startled by Susan Renee's response.

"Not to worry Susan Renee," Helena said. "Sometimes these things just come out of my mouth and I don't really mean them."

"Okay," Susan Renee responded. "I've gotta run now. Toodles!"

"Toodles, to you, too!" Helena replied. "Now where was I....."

Old Age Is A Gift - How True This Is!

If you are a reader of our "Gray Is Beautiful" blog or a fan of our "Gray Is Beautiful" products gallery then you know that we believe that "Gray Is Beautiful", aging is a beautiful and natural process, and that we should be proud of our gray hair.

Well, I saw the following on Suzie's "Blackberry Creek" blog and thought that it was wonderful and so appropriate for our "Gray Is Beautiful" blog as it epitomizes everything we believe. I tried to find the author of the passage, but the author is unknown.

I hope you enjoy the passage.

    Old Age Is A Gift
    Author: Unknown

Old Age, I decided, is a gift. I am now, probably, for the first time in my life, the person I have always wanted to be. Oh, not my body! I sometime despair over my body--the wrinkles, the baggy eyes, and the sagging butt. And often I am taken aback by that old person that lives in my mirror.

But I don't agonize over those things for long. I would never trade my amazing friends, my wonderful life, my loving family for less gray hair or a flatter belly. As I've aged, I've become more kind to myself, and less critical of myself. I've become my own friend.

I don't chide myself for eating that extra cookie, or for not making my bed, or for buying that silly cement gecko that I didn't need, but looks so
avante garde on my patio. I am entitled to a treat, to be messy, to be extravagant.

I have seen too many dear friends leave this world too soon, before they understood the great freedom that comes with aging. Whose business is it if I choose to read or play on the computer until 4:00 a.m. and sleep until noon?

I will dance with myself to those wonderful tunes of the 60s and 70s; and if I, at the same time, wish to weep over a lost love, I will.

I will walk the beach in a swim suit that is stretched over a bulging body, and will dive into the waves with abandon if I choose to, despite the pitying glances from the jet set. They, too, will get old.

I know I am sometimes forgetful. But there again, some of life is just as well forgotten. And I eventually remember the important things.

Sure, over the years my heart has been broken. How can your heart not break when you lose a loved one, or when a child or pet suffers? But broken hearts are what gives us strength and understanding and compassion. A heart never broken is pristine and sterile and will never know the joy of being imperfect.

I am so blessed to have lived long enough to have my hair turning gray, and to have my youthful laughs be forever deep grooves on my face. So many have never laughed, and so many have died before their hair could turn silver.

As you get older, it is easier to be positive. You care less about what other people think. I don't question myself anymore. I've even earned the right to be wrong.

Being old has set me free.I like the person I have become. I am not going to live forever, but while I am still here, I will not waste time lamenting what could have been, or worrying about what will be. And I shall eat dessert every single day if I feel like it.

The Latest Rage - Profile Cards

Do you know what the latest rage is?

    No?

Well, let me give you a hint, "Technology always brings invention and with it comes new ways of communicating."

In today's fast-paced world you are more than just someone who works for so and so. More than just someones wife. More than just someones mother. More than just a Grandmother. More than just a senior citizen and retired.

You are you - with all your talents, creativity, and energy. And, you are not content to just sit home and do nothing.

You're a proud and well established person on the go who just happens to be a baby boomer, senior citizen, or retired. But, retiring, being a senior citizen, or baby boomer doesn't mean you no longer have an identify. It doesn't mean you no longer have ideas, desires, dreams, and creativity. In fact, your creativity may just be in overdrive.

When I was designing my new "Gray Is Beautiful" line of "I'm Proud To be Gray!" profile cards I got to thinking about being a baby boomer, senior citizen, and retired. And, I thought - well that doesn't define me. My blog and my website define me. They are more of who I am and I need a means of communicating where they are.

So, when the profile cards were offered by Zazzle.com I decided that they would be a perfect addition to my "Gray Is Beautiful" product line.

After all there are a LOT of senior citizens with websites, blogs, email addresses, and cell phone #'s these days and we all need a card with that information on it. It's not a business card. It's a "Profile Card" and it defines you in the technological world of the Internet.

My "Gray is Beautiful" Profile cards are for all the graying, aging, baby boomer, senior citizen females out there who are "Proud To be Gray! and who are busier now than they have ever been. They are on the go, have websites, have blogs, have email, and have cell phones.

They are global, they are busy, and they have profile cards. After all, you need to know how you can get in touch with them.

I designed my new profile cards with a line for your name, your cell phone #, your email address, your website name or URL, and your blog URL. However, you can enter this information or change the 6 lines to suit your needs. You can even customize the card to suit your purposes. After all, it's your profile card and it defines you.

So, now you know that the latest rage is profile cards.

So, do you have one yet?

If not, and you are a baby boomer, senior citizen, or retired female who is "Proud of Being Gray" then please check out my new line of "Profile Cards" from my "Gray Is Beautiful" Gallery.
